Hi, I'm Marissa. I am a full time fitness trainer and instructor. I train clients ranging from 14 to 56 years of age. I love helping clients progress and achieve their goals. I design custom balanced fitness programs for all levels that allow each client to progress at their own rate. “Fitness is about consistent movement and feeling rejuvenated.”
I have been in professional fitness for 8 years and I am certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. I have additional education in Functional Training through The Axle Workout and Total Resistance Exercise (TRX Suspension Training) as well as Yoga Essentials, treadmill training for marathon runners, Pilates mat and Pilates reformer and I am Prenatal / Postpartum certified. I am also certified and trained through the American Heart Association® in Heartsaver CPR and AED for children and adults.
I specialize in full body toning, muscular strength and endurance movements, postural alignment and balance, and core strength. I believe in restorative and preventive practices to maintain a consistent healthy lifestyle. I teach intuitive stretch, myofascial release and lead guided meditations. I believe in a balanced routine and assist clients in their daily lives with their sleep, water intake, nutrition, and workout times and programming.
