I am more of a medical groomer so I try to take on the dogs that most groomers can’t handle and if I have open spots after that, then I take your normal happy puppy with the teddy bear cut or cute little hair dyes but I try to give help to the dogs that need it first like extreme geriatrics, full aggressive, reactive, high anxiety, dogs, postop dogs, dogs with extreme medical and skin conditions.

-water therapy is an excellent tool for extreme geriatrics, obese pudgy pooches postop healing after sutures are removed and just provides excellent exercise with low impact on joints and the resistance of the water help strength and muscles. Your dog will get a 30 minute session and we will be hands-on throughout the whole process. We will gradually introduce your pet to the water and provide the proper size life jacket once in the water and I get them loosened up. I’ll do a little light stretching a little acupressure and just get them moving.

-Shaving your double-coated dog does not keep them cool that is what their coat is designed to do. 60 percent of the time the coat will not grow back and it is a temporary fix to shedding which will only make shedding worse down the line! Also, it exposes their skin to the elements. I have other treatments for double-coated dogs that will benefit you and them without damaging their skin and coat.
