About

For over forty years, I have taught private piano lessons starting at elementary up to advanced levels in technique, sight reading, theory, performance and repertoire. I encourage my students to play in private recitals, participate in piano auditions with International Piano Guild and the Certificate of Merit program with MTAC Music Teachers Association of California. My education includes two degrees in music B.A. from Mills College in 1972 and M.A. in piano pedagogy from Holy Names University in 1991. Moreover,I have participated in worship ministry in various churches. Overall, my goal is to teach students to love music and play the piano throughout their entire life.

I enjoy working with people of all ages and getting to know them in a personal way offering a loving atmosphere in which they are able to learn.
