I've worked for several plumbing companies that make their billing hard to understand intentionally, I don't agree with this practice. I believe in being straight forward and fair and taking the time to explain exactly what the problem is and offering more than one way to correct it. I'm not satisfied until I'm sure that the customer knows exactly what I'm saying. I also want to be fair in my billing. It's gotten so crazy that you almost need to take out a loan just so you have healthy indoor plumbing. Yes, businesses must make money to survive but you can't get rich on every customer success comes with repeat customers and that comes with being fair and doing a great job.
