Dear community,
My name is Gabriel Hernandez and I’m excited to offer personalized swim lessons for kids of all ages and skill levels.
A little about me:
I grew up in Venezuela and was proud to represent my country as part of the National Swim Team for over eight years, setting multiple national and international records along the way. Eventually, my love and passion for swimming led me to one of my biggest dreams — moving to the U.S. on a full athletic scholarship. During my time as a college athlete, I was able to qualify for the US Olympic Trials twice, and as of today, I am proud to say that I still hold two school records at UC San Diego.
I have over six years of experience teaching children of different ages and skill levels — from learning how to be comfortable in the water to refining basic and competitive skills for high school and college athletes.
My teaching philosophy is simple:
