Most coaches have either a successful career, an advanced degree, or a coaching certification, but I have all three. Perhaps more importantly, as my clients get to know me, they will see that I really care about their success.
Having achieved a Master's and additional doctoral training in Industrial/Organizational and Behavioral Psychology means that no matter what your current circumstances- bad job, bad divorce, bad relationship, unemployed, anxieties or bad habits that hold you back--I can coach you through it to a better, higher functioning, more successful place.
Having been Certified as a Career Management Professional in 2009, I can write a great custom-made resume that markets you to the targets you choose. Additionally, I know how to provide excellent and encouraging career exploration and advice, search strategies, and comprehensive interview training.

With every resume purchase, I include a minimum 30-minute coaching session as part of the process to make sure we unearth the real value and impact you have brought to your jobs. Being a certified Career Coach means I have the answers to the questions about a job search and can teach you skills and actions to make yourself a great job candidate. All my resumes are custom-written by me with full participation of my clients.
INTERVIEWING is a highly coachable SOCIAL skill, full of both opportunities and traps. Using the best long-term research and literature, I developed an extremely effective method for customizing interview training to the different needs of each client, providing worksheets to gather your key qualifications and experience, up-to-date advice, rules to follow, and most importantly, skill-building techniques. You will be excited to feel your confidence blooming as you experience the methodology and preparation that sway interviewers in your favor. It is a great feeling to begin an interview with a positive attitude because you understand and have the skill to represent yourself in the best light.

For Life Coaching Clients:
Being unemployed or having little job security is in the top ten stressors, as is going through a divorce. I understand (from personal experience) that a good attorney is very important, but they do not help you with many crucial post-breakup situations.
I am especially proud of my work with divorced dads, because there are so many challenges. Among those are how to deal with your money; how to make sure you are a major and positive influence on your children; how to fend off anger and resentment and deal with unkind or non-supportive friends and family, all of which are exacerbated by unemployment. I can help you keep major life changes from interfering with your career.
I struggled for years after my own divorce, letting forces around me push me this way and that. I wish I had had the guidance I needed to talk over choices and decisions, and the encouragement to move forward in a healthier and more productive way. Now I can at least assist others to get back on track.
