My studio has been closed for new students while I am completing my Masters degree at SFSU. In the next two weeks you can receive a free lesson in exchange for participating in the research project for my Masters Thesis on vocal warmups. What's involved: you will fill out a release form for the use of recorded material. I will record your sound before an after a few vocal warmup exercises. You don't have to be able to sing in tune. The rest of the time I can give you a free vocal consultation and/or workshop you favorite song. We will set up your individual session by phone and the location will be at SFSU Creative Arts Building, time TBA.

I am an expert on the most efficient use of voice. It is rooted in classical technique practiced by opera singers, which can be used also for speaking and singing in any style. I help find and increase your resonance without increased physical effort. I can also help you read music and work on the theatrical aspect of performance. I have 20 years of experience and a degree from a renowned theatre academy.
I love making people discover the vocal power they never thought they have and usually let them hear this easy, resonant sound in their first lesson. As a child I was told by my teachers and parents that I "had no voice" and couldn't sing. Now I know the secret of the mechanics of voice. I will be very happy to pass my knowledge on to you.
A typical lessons starts with you singing a song that inspires you. If you show me a YouTube video I can point out to you how the professional singer in it does what he/she does so well and show you the path to your own best version of the piece. I have worked with all kinds of students, from absolute beginners to with recording artists. Most find my method easy and time effective. Looking forward to working with you!
