As an active professional singer in New York City and around the world, (Opera, Oratorio, as a soloist, as a choral singer, and as a choral conductor) I have served as a voice teacher to countless students for over 30 years. Several of my students have gone on to have active professional singing careers (classical and non-classical), including The Metropolitan Opera (where I also occasionally sing with the chorus) to non-traditional positions with Disney, pop and rock bands, and other audition/competition-based entities. I have been teacher to young students, older amateurs, and professional colleagues.
I love singing, and I love helping those who also love singing to renew and improve doing what they love. Bringing my own joy for the art of vocal performance and expertise as a performer and interpreter to adults as well as younger students and even beginners helps me make a difference in the world.
