About

My name is Lauren Gatzka and I am a private vocal instructor and performance coach with over ten years of formal voice studies and over nine years of voice and piano teaching experience. I majored in vocal performance at Middle Tennessee State University with a minor in psychology. As a Dramatic Coloratura soprano, I have performance experience in classical, Broadway and pop/rock styles. In my lessons, I use a natural vocal technique based on the Alexander Method of Teaching which is comprised of several components fostering vocal health tailored to each individual student and performer.
