Enes Pektaş is a baritone based in Turkey. His musical journey began at the Fine Arts High School, where he studied cello and piano for 4 years. He then pursued his passion for music at Istanbul University State Conservatory, majoring in Opera from 2016 to 2021.
In 2019, Enes had the opportunity to showcase his talent as Argante in the opera "Rinaldo" at Istanbul Süreyya Opera and Ballet. That same year, he earned the 2nd prize in the Istanbul Baroque Singing Competition, further highlighting his vocal abilities.
Enes was awarded a full scholarship to the Vincero Academy in 2021, where he studied and mastered roles such as the Count from "Le Nozze di Figaro," Marcello from "La Bohème," and Belcore from "L'elisir d'amore'' with the guidance of Abdiel Vazquez.
In 2022, he was selected by the Camerata Bardi Academy and Teatro Grattacielo to perform the roles of Don Giovanni and Carmen.
Additionally, Enes have won the 2nd prize in the Siemens Vocal Competition and earned a scholarship for the Bologna International Opera Academy.
Enes made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2023, a significant milestone in his career. The same year, he received acceptances from both Mannes School of Music in New York City and the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia with full scholarship for his masters degree.
Throughout his journey, Enes has had the privilege of working with renowned artists such as Lucas Meachem, Pietro Spagnoli, Luis Ledesma, Abdiel Vazquez, Danielle Orlando, Craig Rutenberg, Güzin Gürel and such others. Their guidance and collaboration have contributed to his artistic growth.
