About

For over 7 years, I have helped hopeful scholars and professionals maximize their scores on standardized tests (SAT, GRE, GMAT), while tutoring students in core subjects like math, world history, biology, etc.

I graduated with a double-major in Japanese & International Studies from Carolina (UNC Chapel Hill), and just recently earned an Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) degree from University of California, San Diego. I have tutored clients in NYC, NC, San Diego, and abroad in Tokyo. While I am fairly new to Thumbtack, I have numerous Yelp reviews and personal references upon request!

From my experience in academic + Japanese instruction, I've concluded that teaching is definitely a two-way street. My favorite part of the job is learning from my clients as I help them achieve their goals! Aside from being a doctor, I have a lot of experience counseling and mentoring students to maximize their potential.
