1. MCAT Only: We tutor only the MCAT. Teaching the MCAT is not only our passion, but also our full-time commitment. We tutor all sections, the Sciences and CARS.
2. Accurate Diagnosis: We spend the first session getting a precise idea of the student's weaknesses in every section and creating a plan to attack those weaknesses. We take the student's input and thoughts into consideration every step of the way.
3. Customized Study Plan: And we really do mean customized. Each student's curriculum is based on their needs. No two students are taught the same way or even given the same practice material. We use every resource to optimize learning for each student.
4. Individualized Instruction: Since our sessions are one-on-one, our students receive the attention they need to maximize their potential.
5. Effective Prep: We use a 5-step process in our tutoring:
a) Teaching core MCAT concepts
b) Application of concepts on free-standing questions and passages
c) Taking practice exams
d) Analysis of mistakes
e) Building Confidence
6. Flexible Hours: We work around the student's schedule, moving at the pace that they need to be completely ready for the exam.
7. Pay-As-You-Go: We do not require our students to purchase a set of hours up front. Students are billed weekly only for the hours tutored.
8. Availability: Tutoring the MCAT is what each of our tutors does full-time. We are available at all hours to respond to questions and concerns from our students.
9. Real-Test Experience: All our tutors have taken the MCAT and scored in the 95-99th percentile range. You will be working with tutors that not only know the MCAT first-hand, but have also taught hundreds of students one-on-one.
