About

I started playing violin since age of 7 and was classically trained in South Korea, Canada, and in US. I graduated from University of California San Diego, with degree in violin performance(2010), and have taught violin for over 15 years. I have experiences in working with kids of all ages, all levels.

I’m also a music therapist so I am able to better assess my student’s needs. I tailor my lesson style to fit each student’s personality, strengths, weaknesses, and goals- to optimize the learning experience and help my students find joy in playing violin.
