About

Marcus Brodsky is an experienced musician with a passion for teaching music to future generations. He has a combined experience of over 15 years which includes performing and teaching. Marcus is a graduate of the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College where he studied with Brett Deubner.

Marcus owns Sky String Studios, an in-person/online violin & viola studio for all levels. Marcus currently teaches in-person lessons in Nassau County, New York and online!

He specializes in NYSSMA preparation and has students currently participating in Metropolitan Youth Orchestras (MYO), Gemini Youth Orchestras (GYO), and the Long Island String Festival Association (LISFA).

He has performed in LeFrak Concert Hall, Alice Tully Hall Lincoln Center, Weill Recital Hall, and the Adelphi Performing Arts Center.

Throughout his studies Marcus has had the pleasure of working with world renown musicians such as Peter Slowik, Martha Katz, Daniel Phillips, Marcy Rosen, and Magdalena Filipczak.
