I’ve been teaching cello, fiddle, and electric violin to children and adults for over 15 years.

I am a trained Suzuki teacher, and have been a professor of violin and String Pedagogy (how to teach stringed instruments) at the University of Colorado.
I enjoy teaching all styles of music including classical, Celtic, improvisation, bluegrass and Lindsey Stirling. I’ll help you meet your musical goals and we’ll have fun along the way!
Former students have joined competitive youth orchestras, performed at church, won fiddling competitions, minored in music in college, joined amateur quartets, participated in bluegrass jams, or simply enjoyed their newfound ability to make music!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from York College of Pennsylvania, and a Master's in Violin Pedagogy (teaching).
I've performed with a variety of groups and styles throughout my career. I've played (and danced) electric violin with Cirque du Soliel, viola with the York Symphony Orchestra, viola with the Mile High String Quartet, and fiddle in a number of folk bands including the nationally acclaimed nature-based performance art group, Tree-O!
