For over twenty-five years, I have been a counselor, an educator, and a
writer of both fiction and non-fiction. My education has been at Trinity
University (B.A. in Philosophy) and at the University of Tennessee (M.S.
in English Education.)
My goal is to support students with the college essay and any client with any speech.
I started and ran a college counseling program at an elite college preparatory high school. I taught AP English and helped numerous students complete their college essays. I went on to start my own college counseling business, providing years of service to various types of students.
My speech service evolved out of this business. I found myself coaching students and families for various events. Speeches in many ways are simply mini-essays. People make an argument for a particular audience.
I love what I do. I meet so many amazing people with interesting points to make. All people usually need is an attentive writing partner. With a partner, essays and speeches can go from average to extraordinary.
