Richards Crossing is a 38-unit affordable housing development for the homeless and extremely low income individuals. Eight units are reserved for chronically homeless veterans who receive rental assistance from the U.S. Veterans Administration, while the other 30 units receive Section 8 project-based rental assistance. In addition to providing shelter, the facility provides on-site services and related supportive services as well as referrals to local service organizations to help tenants maintain housing and move towards self-sufficiency.
