Alternative Housing Voucher Program (AHVP) Senior and Disabled Waiting List

The Fitchburg Housing Authority (FHA) last accepted Alternative Housing Voucher Program (AHVP) waiting list applications from February 16, 2021, until March 5, 2021.

Please note: According to the FHA notice "AHVP is a state mobile voucher subsidy for households with at least one member who is both under the age of 60 and disabled. All AHVP vouchers are one bedroom, except by reasonable accommodation."

There were three to ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the paper application.
3. Pick up a paper application from the FHA office.
4. Call the FHA to request an application by mail.
5. Email the FHA to request an application by mail.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be:

1. Mailed to the FHA and postmarked by March 5, 2021.

This waitlist had the following income limits:

• 1-person household: $47,850 | 2-person household: $54,650

Preferences have not been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
