1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Reno Housing Authority (RHA) last accepted Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom apartments from April 15, 2024, until May 3, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Involuntary Displacement due to PHA action or program regulation
• Residency: Live, work or have graduated from or are currently enrolled in an education or training program that is located in Washoe County.
• Elderly or Disabled
• Lease in Place: Applicants who currently live in Washoe County
• Homeless
• Graduate of Permanent Supportive Housing: Applicants who provide documentation showing successful completion of a Permanent Supportive Housing Program in Washoe County within the last 6 months will be given preference.
• Veterans

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.
