Sequoia Crossings, 1 and 2-Bedroom Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Salem Housing Authority (SHA) last accepted Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments at Sequoia Crossings from August 19, 2023, until September 4, 2023.

Please note: According to the SHA public notice " The waiting list for Sequoia Crossings offers a preference for homeless individuals and families who are referred to SHA through the Coordinated Entry System. If you are currently experiencing homelessness, contact a Coordinated Entry Site with the Mid-Willamette Homeless Alliance. Sites include ARCHES in Salem, and others. To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $29,300 | 5 Persons $45,200
• 2 Persons $33,500 | 6 Persons $48,550
• 3 Persons $37,700 | 7 Person $51,900
• 4 Persons $41,850 | 8 Persons $55,250

This waiting list had the following preferences: 

• Homeless individuals and families who are referred to SHA through the Coordinated Entry System.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
