The Housing Works Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for 1, 2 and 3-Bedroom apartments at Ochoco School Crossing is currently open.

Housing Works last accepted applications for this waiting list from August 15, 2022, until August 25, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the paper application.

Once the application was completed, it was either:

  1. Dropped off in person at the Housing Works office.
  2. Faxed to Housing Works.
  3. Emailed to Housing Works.

The maximum income limits for each household size were available on the public notice.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • Those who live or work in Deschutes, Crook, or Jefferson County.
  • Applicants who are disabled and clients of the Department of Human Services (DHS) or Saving Grace for victims of domestic violence.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
