Single Room Occupancy Project-Based Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of York (HACY) waiting list for Single Room Occupancy apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least January, 2020, until further notice.

Please note: According to the HACY, "Single Room Occupancy is a single room with a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Single persons only can apply. Only at Dutch Kitchen or YMCA Men's Resident."

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application. Select the waiting list in the "SRO - Single Room Occupancy" section.

This waiting list may have the following preferences:

• Live or work in York County
• Involuntary displaced by a local disaster as declared by the Government
  • Must provide documentation within 10 days of submitting the application
• Homeless
• Veteran
