York Family Residences Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of York (YHA) waiting list for 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom Project Based Voucher apartments at York Family Residences is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from March 2, 2020, until December 30, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete an online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live or work in York County
• Involuntary displaced by a local disaster as declared by the Government? (Must provide documentation within 10 days of submitting the application.)
• Homeless
• Veteran
• Currently in a Rapid Rehousing or Permanent Supportive Housing Program
• Transitioning out of a healthcare and/or other segregated living environment

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
