Terraza Palmera at St. Joseph, 2 and 3-Bedroom Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Oakland Housing Authority (OHA) Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for 2 and 3-Bedroom apartments at Terraza Palmera at St. Joseph is closed.

The OHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from November 28, 2022, until December 16, 2022. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Print the pre-application online
2. Call Terraza Palmera to request an application be mailed

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be either:

1. Mailed to Terraza Palmera at St. Joseph Apartments
2. Emailed to Terraza Palmera

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live/work in Oakland, California
• Veteran
• Seniors 
• Families
• Homeless

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
