Multiple Properties, Family Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa (HACCC) last accepted Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for Multiple Apartments from June 3, 2024, until July 18, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following properties:

• Chesley
• Alvarado Gardens
• The Terraces Family Apartments 
• Church Lane Apartments 

According to the HACCC "The Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa (HACCC) noted that 3 of the 12 wait lists intended for accepting applications did not properly open for the application process.  Accordingly, HACCC has extended the application deadline to 4:00 PM on July 18, 2024, to give applicants an opportunity to apply to those three wait lists.  The wait lists that did not open were Casa Del Rio (Elderly), Friendship Manor (Elderly) and Hacienda Apartments (Elderly).  If you are interested in living at any of these three properties, please log back into your RentCafé Applicant Portal and add them to the wait lists you wish to be considered for."

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.
