Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin (HACSJ) Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for apartments at Dewey Apartments and Grant Village is closed.

The HACSJ last accepted applications for this waiting list from December 10, 2021, until February 11, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

• Dewey Apartments is located at 507 N. Pilgrim Street in Stockton, CA. Apartments ranging from one to two bedroom units.
• Grant Village is located at 2040 S. Grant Street in Stockton, CA. Townhomes ranging from two to four bedroom units.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. Paper applications were not accepted.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Applicants who live or work in the county of San Joaquin.

3,000 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences. According to the HACSJ, "Applicants will receive an email by January 7, 2022, confirming whether or not they have been placed on the waiting list."
