Dexter Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Dexter Housing Authority (DHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The DHA offers one Public Housing community with 136 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the DHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 1 Jennings Ln., Dexter, MO 63841, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, government or state issued photo ID for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The DHA does have a preference for: Working families, elderly, disabled, or applicants that live and/or work in Dexter.For more information, call the DHA office at (573) 624-2540 from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
