Salem Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Salem Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The SHA offers one Public Housing community with 90 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the SHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 606 N McGrath Ln., Salem, MO 65560, from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, call the SHA office at (573) 729-6453 from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
