Thayer Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Thayer Housing Authority (THA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The THA offers one Public Housing community with 35 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the THA to pick up a pre-application, located at 1374 Highway 142, Thayer, MO 65791, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The THA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the THA office at (417) 264-7858 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
