Winnebago County, Illinois Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Winnebago County Housing Authority (WCHA): Winnebago County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for six days in February 2018. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Terminated from HCV program due to insufficient funding, live in Winnebago County, veteran or surviving spouse of veteran, head of household or spouse is employed for 20+ hours per week (elderly/disabled also qualify).

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
