The Mississippi Regional Housing Authority VI (MRHA VI) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The MRHA VI last accepted applications for this waiting list from March 7, 2023, until March 9, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• The PHA will offer a preference to any family that has been terminated from its HCV program due to insufficient program funding.
• The PHA will offer a preference to families that include victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking who have either been referred by a partnering service agency or consortia or is seeking an emergency transfer under VAWA from the PHA’s public housing program or other covered housing program operated by the PHA.

Selected applicants were placed on this waiting list by date and time the application was received, weighed by order of preferences.
