Hornell Housing Authority Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Hornell Housing Authority (NY) has opened the waiting list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program; no closing date has been identified.

Preferences will be given to applicants who are homeless, as defined by: 

• Substandard housing
• Involuntarily displaced ... or ...  
• Rent burden - paying more than 50% of income for rent and utilities 

 All preference requests will require documentation from the applicant of the conditions and circumstances that warrant a higher priority.

Applications received will be sorted by preference and then placed on waiting list by date and time of application submission.
