Sea Cliff, New York Section 8 Voucher Waiting List

The Village of Sea Cliff Housing Authority (VSCPHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from December 30, 2020 until January 13, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period: 

1. Print the online paper application.
2. Pick up an application from the VSCPHA.

Once the application was completed, it was postmarked on or between December 30, 2020 and January 13, 2021, and mailed to the VSCPHA.

Please note: According to the VSCPHA "Completed applications must be sent by regular mail (not registered or certified mail) and be in a standard business envelope (4 1/8” by 9 ½”). There is a limit of one application per envelope."

The maximum income limits for each household size were listed on the application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Lease in Place (2 points): Households now living in a leased unit for 3 or more months in one of the following zip codes: 11579, 11542, 11545, 11560 or 11709
• Veteran (1 point): Veteran and/or legal spouse of a veteran working or living in one of the following zip codes: 11579, 11542, 11545, 11560 or 11709

100 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
