Rockland County, New York Mainstream Voucher Waiting List

The Rockland County Department of Social Services (RCDSS) last accepting Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 13, 2024, until May 24, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the DSS, "To be eligible for this application, a person must be:

• Under 62 years of age
• Disabled, and
• Homeless, at risk of homelessness or transitioning out of segregated care"

Preferences have not been confirmed.

300 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application that is available on the RCDSS website.
