About

Now accepting students of all ages and skill levels! I teach from my home studio but may be willing to travel to you, depending on your location. I teach all styles of drumming, and my approach can help you learn the basics or prepare for a professional career. I charge $35 per half hour.

I have been playing drums professionally for over 30 years. I’ve participated in numerous projects, playing various styles of music alongside some incredible musicians. I’ve had the privilege of studying with some of the best drummers in the world, including Tony Williams (Miles Davis), Billy Hart (Herbie Hancock), and George Marsh (David Grisman). I also attended the New School of Jazz in New York, where I studied composition, theory, and performance with legends like Reggie Workman (John Coltrane).

Some of my musical influences include: Stevie Wonder, Prince, The Meters, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Tool, Primus, Talking Heads, Papadosio, Lettuce, etc.
