Dr. Mikao Usui founded Reiki in March of 1922 in Japan. He received the gift of Reiki during a meditative experience on a sacred mountain, Kurama-yama. Reiki is an energy healing technique which gently facilitates healthy energy (what's known in Reiki as “life force energy”) through the Client's body to reduce stress and promote healing in the mind, body and spirit.
Energy emanates from every living being in the Universe. We are more than our physical bodies. We have an energy body made up of our aura (energy fields), the chakras (energy centers) and the meridians (energy pathways.) Our physical body takes in food to nourish it and give it energy, our energy body does the same. The energy fields take energy in, the chakras break it down, and the meridians distribute it throughout the body.
When energy is low or congested, we are most likely to feel stressed or feel ill. Reiki maintains balance in the body, mind and spirit through life force energy. The process of giving Reiki is providing more life force energy, aligning and opening energy centers to make them harmonious. If life force energy is high in our energy body, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
A Reiki treatment feels like an amazing glowing radiance that flows through and around you. It treats the person holistically including mind, body, spirit and emotions. It has many beneficial effects that includes relaxation, stress reduction, feelings of peace, security and well being. Reiki is a safe method that is a simple and natural way of self-improvement and spiritual healing that everyone can use and also your beloved pets.
My name is Lisa and I have had an amazing healing journey that truly transformed my mind, body and spirit. I am an intuitive Reiki Master that uses energy and sound to heal. I have been called to do this healing work to be a service to others. I truly enjoy healing and being immersed in Reiki energy to help my Clients become the best versions of themselves. I am also passionate about healing pets, as well. I live my life everyday by the Reiki principles. My goal is to support my Clients to realize that they are so much more than a physical body. As they begin to understand themselves as multi-layered beings a beautiful journey inwards begins and this depth of experience brings great meaning and purpose to life.
