Hello,

My name is Andrew Mikolajczak, I am an AP Physics and Math teacher at Bloomfield Hills High School. I have 15 years of experience, spanning from General Physics to AP Physics C as well as PreAlgebra to Calculus. Most of my career has been spent in AP Physics and PreCalc. What sets me apart from other tutors is I am an actual teacher teaching these classes right now. With my years of teaching experience comes a lot of knowledge about the types of questions that get asked on tests, the traps that students fall into when problem solving, and multiple methods of explaining the same concept to appeal to various learning styles.

I am currently only doing virtual tutoring because I can say it's honestly better than in person for most students after having tutored for over a decade. Please don't compare it to Covid Learning! One-on-one online is very effective, convenient, and best of all, allows for a great deal of flexibility in terms of scheduling. Many of my students will text me on their lunch break and ask to meet me in the evening because they have a quiz the next morning. With online tutoring, even with that short of notice, it is very likely I'll be able to find the time.
