I am a proud mom and business owner. Family and food are at the heart of everything in my life. I grew up in Iran with a large family that was always hosting parties. On the weekends, we would go to our farm where we grew fresh produce to cook at home.
It’s so important for me to carry on my family tradition (and recipes passed down from my great grandmother :), and create experiences that showcase fresh, delicious flavors from local farms and bring people together to enjoy and celebrate any occasion. That is the inspiration for my cooking — and, the name of my business, Saffa, which means pure delight in Farsi.
