What started off as occasional cooking for my nanny families quickly turned into a passion for cooking. I have experience cooking for many types of diets, including keto, gluten-free, kosher, vegan, and paleo. My true passion is taking a lot of those traditional and often unhealthy recipes and reinventing vegan and/or healthier versions of them without compromising flavor. In 2019, I started my own business, Planted by Crissy, which mainly focuses on vegan baked goods and custom cakes but also serves vegan catering for small to medium-sized events. In addition, people can book me for small in-home events or family dinner as a personal chef for a vegan meal. I can work around many different types of food allergies and do not use soy in most of my recipes. I currently hold a ServSafe Food Handler's License.
