I’m a professional singer and songwriter and perform regularly with my original band, SolSatellite, and am seasoned with cover bands and performing cover songs. I have been teaching private vocal lessons for 10+ years with a passion for helping my students discover their voice and strengthen their skills and techniques with a strong emphasis on vocal health and wellness!
I am a soulful and powerful singer with similar vocal style to Amy Winehouse, Adele, Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, and the likewise inspiration of these artists and so many more! I also perform solo, accompanying myself with guitar and keys, both my original music as well as well-known favorites and crowd pleasers.
My songwriting style is focused in thought-provoking and rhythmic lyrics, drawing from soul, pop, blues, funk, and jazz, with a sprinkle of rock .
I love helping my students with songwriting, learning to play instruments while singing, and teaching them the basics and even some more advanced techniques on keys and guitar. Coaching advanced vocalists is so much fun and I find great joy also coaching bands and helping singers learn how to be their best best selves as performers, or even just building their confidence to sing, whatever’s their musical goals may be, music should always be fun!
