About

Valeria Orrantia is a Berklee College of Music grad and is offering vocal and children’s music lessons in Boston Metro Area or Zoom. My teaching method takes a holistic approach, incorporating the connection of the body, mind, and voice. The student’s comfort and vocal confidence is my priority, as I believe psychological blockages tend to lead to physical ones.

In my lessons we will go over vocal technique, breath support, ear training, building your repertoire, expanding your range, music theory, improvisation, and finding and refining your sound.

My professional and academic experience, along with my own previous journey of recovering from nodules have provided me with valuable tools to improve your voice in the healthiest and most sustainable way. I model my lessons around vocal therapy exercises, classical and modern techniques, catering to your own musical interests and abilities.

I am happy to teach you in my Brighton home studio, travel to you, or online through Zoom (please note that I do not provide Zoom lessons for children, please give them that in-person learning experience if possible).
