Ridgeland Estates, Ridgeland Gardens and Jocelyn Place Apartments, 1-Bedroom Senior Waiting List

The South Portland Housing Authority (SPHA) last accepted Senior (55+) waiting list applications for 1-Bedroom apartments at Ridgeland Estates, Ridgeland Gardens and Jocelyn Place apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of January 4, 2024, until November 30, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list is for the following properties:

• Ridgeland Estates - located at 109 Ridgeland Avenue South Portland, ME.
• Ridgeland Gardens - located at 101 Ridgeland Avenue South Portland, ME.
• Jocelyn Place - located at 41 Little Dolphin Drive Scarborough, ME.

Please note: According to the SPHA "Applicants must be 55 years of age or older."

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to print the paper application.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be: Returned to the SPHA office.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Residency (live or work in South Portland)
• Veterans
• Victims of a federally declared natural disaster

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
