Mill Cove Apartments, 1 and 2-Bedroom Senior and Disabled Waiting List

The South Portland Housing Authority (SPHA) last accepted Senior or Disabled Section 8 Project Based Rental Assistance waiting list applications for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments for Mill Cove apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of January 4, 2024, until November 30, 2024 when it closed. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following property:

• Mill Cove - located in South Portland, Maine.

Please note: According to the SPHA "Applicants must be 62 years of age or older; OR Disabled."

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to print the paper application.

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be: Returned to the SPHA office.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $41,450 | 3 Persons $53,250
• 2 Persons $47,350 | 4 Persons $59,150

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Residency (live or work in South Portland)
• Veterans
• Victims of a federally declared natural disaster

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
