Lexington Place, 2-Bedroom Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority (PRHA) is accepting Senior Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 2-Bedroom apartments at Lexington Place Apartments from June 20, 2023, until June 22, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen/

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $34,650 | 5 Persons $53,500
• 2 Persons $39,600 | 6 Persons $57,450
• 3 Persons $44,550 | 7 Person $61,400
• 4 Persons $49,500 | 8 Persons $65,350

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Living or working in the City of Portsmouth
• Elderly and/or disabled families
• PRHA Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher participant
• Terminated due to insufficient funding
• Veteran
• Applicants involuntarily displaced by government action in the City of Portsmouth
• Homeless as defined by HUD

100 selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
