Seaboard Square l & ll Apartments, 2-Bedroom Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority (PRHA) last accepted Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 2-Bedroom apartments at Seaboard Square l & ll Apartments from February 20, 2024, until February 22, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following property:

•  Seaboard Square I & II Apartments - located in Portsmouth, VA.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $41,580 | 5 Persons $64,200
• 2 Persons $ 47,520 | 6 Persons $68,940
• 3 Persons $53,460 | 7 Person $73,680
• 4 Persons $59,400 | 8 Persons $78,420

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live or work in the City of Portsmouth
• Elderly and/or Disabled
• PRHA Section 8/HCV participant terminated due to insufficient funding.
• Veteran
• Involuntarily displaced by government action in the City of Portsmouth.
• Homeless as defined by HUD.

300 selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
