Phoebus Square Apartments, 1-Bedroom Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority (PRHA) last accepted Senior Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1-Bedroom apartments at Phoebus Square Apartments from June 20, 2023, until June 22, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $41,580 | 2 Persons $47,520

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Living or working in the City of Portsmouth
• Elderly and/or disabled families
• PRHA Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher participant
• Terminated due to insufficient funding
• Veteran
• Applicants involuntarily displaced by government action in the City of Portsmouth
• Homeless as defined by HUD

150 selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
