Sunrise Senior Apartments Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Cruz (HACSC) Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for apartments at Sunrise Senior Apartments is currently open. 

The HACSC is accepting applications for this waiting list from October 10, 2022, until further notice.

There are six ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the paper application available in English here, and in Spanish here.
3. Pick up the paper applications from any of the following locations:
   • Sunrise Senior Apartments: 580 Westside Blvd. Hollister, CA 95023
   • Hollister Senior Center: 300 West St, Hollister, CA
   • CHISPA’s Main Office: 295 Main Street, Suite 100, Salinas, CA 93901
   • The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Cruz: 2160 41st Ave., Capitola 95010
4. Call (831) 454-5950 to request an application.
5. Send a fax to (831) 469-3712.
6. Send an email to [email protected].

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

1. Mailed to the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Cruz, 2160 41st Ave., Capitola 95010.
2. Faxed to (831) 469-3712.
3. Dropped off at the Housing Authority lobby at 2160 41st Ave., Capitola 95010, during office hours Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or after hours using our exterior Drop Box located to the left of the Housing Authority entrance.
4. Emailed to [email protected].

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. Applications received after October 24, 2022 at 5:00 pm, will be added to the waiting list based on date and time.
