The Jefferson Apartments Senior Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of New Britain (HACNB) last accepted Senior Section 8 Project Based Voucher waitlist applications for The Jefferson Apartments from the earliest confirmed open date of September 18, 2023, until December 31, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list was for the following property:

• The Jefferson Apartments, located in New Britain, CT. Offering 1 and 2-bedroom units.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Head of household is employed for at least 20 hours per week.
• Involuntarily displaced or homeless.
• Head of the household was honorably discharged or released under honorable conditions from active service in the armed forces.
• VAWA, covers domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking.
• Head and spouse, or sole member is age 62 or older, or is a person with disabilities.

It was not known how selected applicants were placed on the waiting list.
