One Bedroom Public Housing Waiting List

The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) waiting list for 1 Bedroom Public Housing apartments is open. Applications will be accepted from October 3, 2024, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, complete the online application.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Displaced by government action or disasterFamilies displaced by government action, condemnation, or disaster (fire, flood, storm, or natural disaster that is not due to the fault or negligence of the applicant or a household member.)
• Working/elderly/disabledPerson or families with at least one household member who is 62 years of age or older, disabled, or works a minimum of 28 hours week for at least 6 months prior to submitting the application.

Selection Process

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
