Emerson Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Emerson Housing Authority (EHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least April, 2016, until further notice.

The EHA offers one Public Housing community with 20 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Visit the EHA office to pick up an application, located at 207 E 5th St., Emerson, NE 68733, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm CT on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
2. Call (402) 695-2557, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, to request an application by mail.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above during the times listed.

The following documentation is required with the application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, government issued IDs for all adult household members, and the INS forms for each family member completed and signed.

There are no preferences.

Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the application is received.
